"Hliðarspor" is a new full-length Icelandic opera. Þórunn Guðmundsdóttir is the author of both the text and music. The opera is a continuation of The Barber of Seville and The Marriage of Figaro, based on the third play in Beaumarchais' trilogy, which follows Figaro, Count Almaviva, and those connected to them. The premiere will take place at Gamla Bíó in February 2025. Director is Ágústa Skúladóttir.
